Herts Swim Coach operates from Bushey Grove Leisure Centre — a well-maintained facility in the heart of Bushey, serving swimmers from Watford, Oxhey, South Oxhey, Rickmansworth and the wider west Hertfordshire corridor.
We hire lanes directly so coaches can run focused, uninterrupted sessions. Whether you're training for a triathlon, sharpening your technique, or returning to serious swimming — you get a dedicated coaching environment, not a public lane share.
Every coach in our Bushey network is fully accredited — Swim England, ASA or STA Level 2 minimum — and DBS-checked before they join. Your first session is an assessment: your coach watches you swim, identifies the key technical priorities, and builds a coaching plan from there. Progress is measurable and deliberate, not just more mileage.
Bushey Grove is free to park at, which makes a difference when you're arriving for a 6am session. The facility is well-maintained and the 25-metre pool gives coaches room to work with proper technique sets — not the cramped conditions of a busy public swim. It's the right environment for training that actually moves the needle.

All coaches are Swim England, ASA or STA qualified and DBS-checked, and a parent or guardian stays on-site throughout.
