Every coach is fully accredited — Swim England, ASA or STA Level 2 minimum — and DBS-checked before joining. Your first session is an assessment: a full stroke watch, the technical priorities set, and a plan that follows from session two. We measure progress against technique, not just distance.

Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre, with its modern 25-metre pool, anchors public swimming, while the city carries unusual club depth: City of St Albans Swimming Club (CoStA) and Verulam ASC develop age-group and competitive swimmers, and the dedicated St Albans Masters SC — one of the region’s biggest masters-only clubs — serves adult swimmers right across the district, with Harpenden SC close by too. Yes — we coach junior club swimmers aged 8–18 as well as adults. 1-to-1 technical sessions run in hired lanes and are designed to work alongside your child's existing club programme, not replace it. All coaches are Swim England, ASA or STA qualified and DBS-checked, and a parent or guardian stays on-site throughout.
